Marija Mojca Pungerčar graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design and received an MFA in new genres at San Francisco Art Institute, California. She has worked in the field of contemporary visual art since 1983. Her work has a strong documentary character and engages various media: installation, video, performance. She also creates costume design for theatre.
Borut Savski is an intermedia artist who works in the domain of concepts and contexts, especially in connection with sound (and sound objects) as a metaphor. His background is independent radio, Internet media and electronics. His artistic installations are more conceptually orientated, while performances are more immediate contextual situations.
Marjan Kokot is an online news editor. His background is in media activism and publishing.
The 3via Art Association represents the crossroads where different artistic directions and visions communicate under a common production roof. The main activity of the 3via Art Association is the creation, support and production of art projects of its members and collaborators in the field of the contemporary visual and intermedia production. 3via has produced 16 projects: projects by Marija Mojca Pungerčar include a website project called Safe House featuring material collected during her residency in New York City, Outside My Door, Dresscode and A Story of Shoes (conceived together with Veronika Klančnik), Special Offer, Stereo-Visions, Socialdress, Singer, Brotherhood and Unity (at Simulaker Gallery) and Socialdress per Running Metre (many projects were staged in various public places or exhibited at P74 Centre and Gallery); intermedia projects by Borut Savski (staged at Kapelica Gallery and Cyberpipe in Ljubljana or on the web) include The Oracle, The Dancer (with Stefan Doepner), Basic Questions and Videographics. In 2006 an international exchange project Intermediate spaces Graz - Ljubljana initiated by 3via (Ljubljana), ESC (Graz) and Kapelica Gallery (Ljubljana) was organised.
