Theatre production
The first theatre project produced by Old Glassworks was the drama Carousel, written by Zdenko Kodrič and directed by Branka Bezeljak Glazer. It featured professional actors from various theatre houses as well as drama students and freelance actors. Zvone Šedlbauer also directed a one-man drama show based on drama texts by Kodrič, which was presented in Ptuj and at the Borštnik Theatre Festival in Maribor. Writer Zdenko Kodrič himself directed Petra genetrix or The Mess in Front of the Mithreum, a performance conceived in cooperation with three young poets and four musicians and presented at the Cap á l'Est International Festival in Banska Stiavnica, Slovakia. In co-production with Borštnik Festival, Old Glassworks produced a one-man dramatic adaptation of a Roddy Doyle novel directed by Tanja Lužar and performed by Dunja Zupanec. Most recently, the society presented Zdenko Kodrič and Dušan Fišer's Conifers – A Configuration of the Ground – A Delay of a Virus, a primitive fine arts illustration of the natural processes within computer protocols, at the 2007 Ptuj Summer Days.
Exhibitions
The society has also organised numerous exhibitions, including photographic works by Stojan Kerbler and paintings by Andrej Božic at the Grassl Tower in Slovenska Bistrica, both presented in cooperation with Slovenska Bistrica Cultural Institution. It has also published a catalogue of Dušan Fišer's exhibition Modul II which took place at Maribor Art Gallery and KiBela Art Space.
Publishing
The first book published by Old Glassworks was A Contemporary History of Ptuj in Caricature by Boris Miočionović and Aleš Gačnik. Within the series called ARTerija, Old Glassworks has published several books, including interviews by Nataša Petrović, poems by David Bedrač, short stories by Zdenko Kodrič, paintings by Dušan Fišer and music compositions by Samo Šalamon. A supplement to the latter, an audio recording read by two actors, was published in English.
