The Slovenian Scientific Institute Vienna was established in the year 2000 in order to promote bilateral scientific co-operation between institutions and individuals Slovenia and Austria. The Institute offers support, grants and organisational help to researchers, institutions and also cares about the promotion of Slovene heritage in Vienna.

Acitvities

The Institute is housed in the Knafelj House in Vienna, which is famous as the residence of students from Slovenia and Carniola since 1676.
