The Slovenian Scientific Institute Vienna was established in 2000 in order to promote bilateral scientific co-operation between institutions and individuals Slovenia and Austria. The close ties of Slovene historical heritage to the city of Vienna are the main generator of the Institute's support, grants and organisational help to researchers and institutions.
