The Centre published more than 25 monographic units and papers, also in English and Serbo-Croatian. In cooperation with the Department of Law at the University of Maribor and several professors from abroad it organised a postgraduate study course on International Law.
The projects in the past included the Maribor Initiative [Mariborska pobuda] focused on the contribution of religious communities to reconciliation, respect of diversity, democracy, human rights, protection of minorities, co-operation and stability in South Eastern Europe.
When conducting research the Centre collaborates with the Council of Europe, the European Union, the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Federal Union of European Nationalities (FUEN), Internationales Institut für Nationalitätenrecht und Regionalismus (INTEREG), and similar international and national institutions.
