The Beletrina Bookshop was opened in January 2010 and founded by Študentska založba Publishing House. It is located in the heart of the city inside the building that houses the Scientific Research Centre (ZRC SAZU), Slovene Academy of Science and Arts and the Azil Bookshop near National and University Library (NUK). Beletrina Bookshop offers a variety of books by many Slovene publishing houses and of course holds the complete collections of works published by Študentska založba. The premises of the 60 sq. m. bookshop house the most referential works within several sections: literature, research and science literature in Slovenian and other languages, leisure-time literature, and a special section of children's books.

The bookshop organises presentations of authors and many literature events. In October 2010, during Nordic Week, fairytale reading hours for children, a fast course of Finnish language, and a quiz game were organised. Throughout the whole year, students can shop at Beletrina Bookshop and receive a special discount.
