− | The Department of Textiles Library was founded in 1962 when the Department was established. This is a specialised library which collects literature on textile technology. In 1980 when textile and clothes design studies were introduced, the library acquired many books and magazines from the field of fashion design and art. In 2002 studies on graphic techniques were introduced and the library bought graphic design, publishing, book binding, photography and computer science books. The library is also building a collection of standards in these fields.
