Bled, an Alpine town alongside glacial Lake Bled in northwestern Slovenia, hosts the annual Bled Film Festival under the presidency of Rade Šerbedžija. Its first edition takes place mid June 2014.

The Bled Film Festival (BFF) has got support of some leading filmmakers from southeastern Europe, Great Britain and USA and aims at becoming a significant engaged festival. In 2014 the documentaries have a thematic focus: to raise awareness of environmental issues surrounding water.

Programme

The festival edition 2014 includes 8 feature films and 8 documentaries that will compete for the prizes. The Open Air programme will show the 4 blockbuster movies, one afternoon is dedicated to Srdjan Dragojević's opus (3 film screenings). The festival is accompanied by several side events.
