Published only in Slovene, the Emzin Arts Magazine is thematic publication known on its originality, engaged and (self-) critical approach to current topics. From the very beginning Emzin has focused on the visual arts, primarily on photography, illustration and design. The magazine itself has become an exposition of various visual design concepts.


History

This publication first appeared in 1990 as M'ZIN, Magazine of the Network for Metelkova squat, Ljubljana's independent arts centre. Initially published by ŠKUC Association, it was later taken over by the Emzin Cultural Institute.

Content

As thematic magazine, meaning that each issue covers a different topic, all articles published in the magazine are made exclusively for it.
