The centres of the Institute are: the Public Opinion and Mass Communication Research Centre (CPOMC), the Centre for Cultural and Religious Studies (CRS), the Centre for Political Science Research (CPSR), the Centre for Spatial Sociology (CSS), the Social Communication Research Centre (SCRC), the International Relations Research Centre (IRRC), the Centre for Policy Evaluation and Strategic Studies (CPESS), the Defence Research Centre (DRC), the Centre for Organisational and Human Resources Research (COHR), the Centre for Social Studies of Science (CSSS), the Centre for Methodology and Informatics (CMI), the Centre for Theoretical Sociology (CTS), the Centre for Welfare Studies (CWS), the Centre for Social Psychology (CSP), the Centre for Comparative Corporate and Development Studies (CCDS), Research Centre for the Terminology of Social Sciences and Journalism, Centre for Critical approach to Political Science, Center for Analysis of Administrative-political Processes and Institutions, and the Centre for Anthropological Research (CAR).
Within the Institute operates The Social Science Data Archive (ADP), a national resource centre. The Archive collects the data from academich research projects, government or commercial surveys. The catalogue of the Archive is available online.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
