Its collection of exhibition catalogues from all of the galleries in Slovenia as well as numerous international institutions (mostly obtained on an exchange basis) are of particular importance. Additionally, over 180 specialised magazine and newspaper titles from the areas of the library´s interest are available to its users. The library also keeps the books and legacies of individual Slovene artists, including Rihard Jakopič, Gojmir Anton Kos, Miha Maleš, Stane Kregar, Slavko Smolej, and Lojze Spacal.
