When Ljubljana has the title of World Book Capital (from April 2010 to April 2011), the Slovenian Book Agency will co-finance a publishing congress, a literary festival and special prize editions of quality books. The agency is also involved in the project Rastem s knjigo ('I grow with a book'), which promotes reading among children and (in cooperation with the government and libraries) provides a free book for every 7th grade pupil.
