The Ljubljana-based production company Felina Films works in the production of feature films, TV shows and TV advertisements. It was established in 1994 by film director and writer Peter Bratuša.

Felina Films has grown into one of the most creative and awarded commercial production companies in Slovenia and Croatia. In the recent period, in addition to the successful continuation of the production of TV advertisements, Felina Films has been increasingly gaining ground in producing TV shows, especially modern cooking programmes, and films.

Peter Bratuša: background

Peter Bratuša, the founder of Felina Films, was born in Maribor in 1962 and later studied film photography at the Academy of Dramatic Arts in Zagreb. He has more than 30 years of experience in film and photography. As a director of photography, he participated in the production of several short films and two feature films, Babica gre na jug (Grandma Goes South) (1991) and Oko za oko (Gypsy Eyes) (1992). In addition, he directed TV advertisements and founded the production house Felina Films, which in more than 20 years has recorded over 350 commercials, for which the company has received many acknowledgments: twice they were finalists of the communication and marketing Epica Award, they were recipients of the Golden and Silver Drum awards at the Golden Drum Advertising Festival of New Europe as well as the highest awards at the Croatian Advertising Festival and at the Slovene Advertising Festival (SOF).

As the main producer, Felina Films has produced several projects with Bratuša as director and screenwriter: the short films 10 Years in 2010, which received the Vesna Award for the best short film at the Festival of Slovenian Film and Two One in 2015; and the feature films, Awakenings in 2017 and the romantic family comedy Gaja's World in 2018.
