Iglu Cultural Society was founded by three renowned Slovenian improvisers in order to advance and promote the art of improvisational theatre. To fulfill this mission, they established Iglu Theatre, one of the few professional Slovenian theatres dedicated exclusively to improvisation. Iglu Theatre regularly presents evenings of improvisational theatre, showcasing a range of different approaches and concepts, and often inviting acclaimed international guests. Another key activity of the Iglu Society is their Impro School which teaches improvisational theatre techniques to numerous newcomers in the field. Iglu is a member of the network of European improvisers Ohana and International Theatresports Institute.
