IGLU theatre performing at the international festival Improvaganza (Edmonton),
2017.
Iglu Cultural Society was founded by three renowned Slovenian improvisers, united by a passion for advancing and promoting the art of improvisational theatre. To realise this vision, they established Iglu Theatre, one of the few professional theatres in Slovenia dedicated entirely to improvisation. The theatre presents dynamic evenings of improvisational performance, experimenting with diverse formats and concepts, and regularly welcomes acclaimed international guests to its stage.
A cornerstone of the society’s work is the Iglu Impro School, which inspires and trains new generations of performers in the techniques and spirit of improvisational theatre. Iglu is a member of the European improvisers’ network Ohana and the International Theatresports Institute.
