CCP Slovenia is responsible for the promotion of the EACEA's Culture Programme on the national level, and for the dissemination and exchange of information related to the implementation of the programme; it provides assistance in searching for partner organisations and offers technical support for users. CCP Slovenia organises seminars and workshops throughout Slovenia and maintains a website (including a database of supported projects featuring Slovene producers since 2000).
CCP Slovenia also conceives topical public events regarding the EU cultural policy and funding opportunities. In 2009 it organised an international forum with guest presenters on the topic Culture and Structural Funds? in order to emphasise the importance of culture while implementing the European cohesion policy.
Apart from its basic activity (facilitating partner searches for the participation in the Culture Programme) CCP Slovenia actively participates in the CCP Network. In the frame of the Slovene EU presidency in 2008 it organised the international conference Re-network! on rethinking the concept of networking in culture.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
