Carniola Festival presents Slovene and international performers of jazz, classical music, opera, street theatre, classical theatre, contemporary dance, and folk dance.
Past performances include Laibach (Slovenia), Terrafolk (Slovenia), The Platters (USA), Huerque Mapu (Argentina), Afrikali (Tanzania), Mariachi & Ballet Folclorico Policromia Mexicana (Mexico), Conjunto Artistico Maraguan (Cuba), Vermicelli Orchestra (Russia), Rimpparemmi (Finland), Picikato Brass Band (Macedonia), Etno Histria (Croatia).
Later on in summer the music festivals programme in Kranj is expanded by Jazz Kamp Kranj taking place in August.
