The publication first appeared in [[Established::1990]] as ''M'ZIN, Fanzine of the [[Metelkova mesto Autonomous Cultural Zone|Network for Metelkova]]'', the initiative for the establishment of an independent arts centre in Ljubljana. Initially published by [[ŠKUC Association]], it was later taken over by the [[Emzin Cultural Institute]] and professionalised.
