Since 2001 it has published more than 130 different publications. The Litera book collections are: Piramida (contemporary Slovene literature), Babilon (contemporary world literature), Nova znamenja (humanities), Mladež (youth literature), From the antique world, and the 'Collected Works of Slovene Poets and Prose Writers.
In June 2007 Litera organised the Bistrica Literary Days festival called Spogledi at the Slovenska Bistrica Castle.
