With part of the crew that has been working on these projects later migrating to Sever & Sever Productions, so has the new company's focus for the better part stayed true to the two themes outlined above - either dissecting the Slovenian cultural landscape and its genealogy or reflecting on the topics of disabled or otherwise marginalised social groups.

Established in 2011, the Sever & Sever Production has since than produced quite a number of short films, documentaries, feature-length films and other video works. It is led by the director, screenwriter and producer Jani Sever, who has up until 2011 headed the web 'television' Vest.si, which was the first on-line daily in Slovenian that featured news, interviews and reports in the form of video clips. By way of necessity, that project has been transformed into a film production house and then latter given a new name and company.

Sever & Sever documentaries

In the films presenting the peripheral parts of the society, Sever & Sever has produced works on mental problems (Sanjal sem, da sem srečen), on young outcasts (Dom, Izključeni) and has filmed three pieces that deal with blindness, titled Adagio, Richard pride jutri [Richard comes tomorrow] and Hoja po vodi [Walking on Water]. The latter is a story about a successful fashion model gone blind and than becoming not only a businessman but a a professional sportsman as well.

Sport is also one of the themes that Sever & Sever has handled when filming documentaries about popular culture. The others are Slovene movie history (Kaj pa Mojca?), industrial heritage (Ne bo vam uspelo, to je Jelovica!) and cultural sensibilities of the 80s (Nekoč je bila dežala pridnih).

Fiction films and other works

Sever & Sever has also filmed a few puppet theatre and contemporary dance shows, for example OTTETTO dance performance from EnKnapGroup (EKG). They've also produced a couple of short films and, in 2014, their first feature-length film Pot v raj [Sailing to Paradise].
