The Drugajanje Festival is an annual festival initiated in 2002, co-organised by the Bunker Institute and taking place in Maribor, Celje, Ptuj, Ljutomer, Kranj, Ljubljana and other towns across Slovenia. The festival was originally conceived as a response to the gap in the supply of cultural content for youth in the city of Maribor and aims to affirm contemporary dance and performing arts, especially among teenage audiences, with a programme of performances, workshops and lectures.
PROGRAMME
The festival regularly features new productions by Bunker Institute and cooperates with various Slovenian highschools and local cultural institutions.
In 2023, the Drugajanje Festival was organised in two parts (November 2023 and January 2024). It closely cooperated with secondary schools and local organisations in the cities of Celje, Ljutomer, Nova Gorica, Ptuj and Maribor.
