Kozjanski Park Public Institute is responsible for the overall management and development of the 206 square-kilometre Kozjanski Park and its various natural and historical attractions. It oversees the upkeep of Podsreda Castle, supports the branding of the Castles of Posavje, and also organises a range of cultural programmes within the Kozjansko Park, including an annual Summer Music programme.

The Institute is involved in several European projects that strive to revive the region.
