Trajna society operates at the intersection of design, craftsmanship and ecology. Its goals include regeneration of urban nature, the co-production of urban biodiversity and the enhancement of ecological literacy within local communities and culture. The society is perhaps best known for curating the Creative laboratory Krater, established on a rewilded construction site in Ljubljana, where various events take place, ranging from discussions and workshops to art projects. Trajna also advocates the creative use of invasive plants, such as using the plants to make Notweed paper and DIY furniture.
