The birthplace of poet Simon Gregorčič (1844–1906), located in the village of Vrsno, seven kilometres from Kobarid, was restored in period style and opened as a museum in 1966. The collection and display are dedicated to the poet's life and work, his family and contemporaries, and the events during his lifetime.
