Emanat is a newly-formed institute for the affirmation and development of dance art. Emanat also manages the AGON programme (previously managed by [[En-Knap Dance Group]]), an informal training programme for education, research and self-development in the performing arts held in Ljubljana and led by artistic directors Maja Delak and Mala Kline. Maja Delak, a former member of [[En-Knap Dance Group]], has choreographed a number of performances (Gina & Miovanni, 6agon, Mezzanino), and together with Mala Kline she created HI-RES dance performance, which was first presented at the 2004 [[City of Women International Festival of Contemporary Arts]]. Maja Delak is an experienced arts educator who has implemented an official secondary school-level programme with a specialisation in contemporary dance at the [[Pre-School Education and Grammar School, Ljubljana]]. Emanat has organised several high-quality workshops - in 2006 they were led by Lisa Nelson, Mark Tompkins and Nuno Rebelo. Emanat's 2007 production Rondinella, emerging from and named after the evocative Exodus song written by Dario Marušić, spun a tale of love and loss, mystery and mysticism, comedy and commonplace, gently - and with constrained nostalgia - triggering memories and offering a glance at the past and the dear spaces and people we feel close to. Rondinella, a lyrical and eloquent site-specific work, was created for five dancers with live musicians and video projection. Most recently the new work Expensive Darlings  was presented at the City of Women International Festival in October 2007.
