Founded in February 2002 by the Government of the Republic of Slovenia, Slovene Philanthropy (http://www.filantropija.org) and Ljubljana Urban Municipality, the TOGETHER Foundation (also known as the Regional Centre for the Psychosocial Well-being of Children) is a non-governmental organisation which aims to protect and improve the psychosocial well-being of children in areas which have been affected by armed conflict, war, terrorist attack, natural disaster or technical accidents, and by its unfavourable social consequences they bring. It has been active primarily in the regions of South-Eastern Europe, Iraq, and the North Caucasus. Through activating Slovene and international professional and material resources in the countries of the region and on the wider scale it tries to ensure a better future for children and to contribute to peace and stability in the region and further afield. Numerous international conferences, consultations and international camps for volunteers have been organised and several professional publications published in various foreign languages. The Foundation seeks funds from donors for its activities and the implementation of its programmes. Donors include countries, governmental and non-governmental organisations and private foundations, as well as Slovene and foreign enterprises that are, or would like to be, present in South Eastern Europe. It collaborates on regular basis with the Division for International Cultural Relations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture and developed
