Delivered by the expert committee of the Association of Ballet Artists of Slovenia, the Pia and Pino Mlakar Award is awarded for exceptional and original life time achievements in the art of ballet and choreography.

The 2010 Pia and Pino Mlakar Award was awarded to one of the most visible Slovene ballet choreographers Vlasto Dedovič.
