DAAD (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst) Stipends are facilitated by the German Government. They include stipends for research by young PhD researchers and scientists, stipends for postgraduate studies for all fields of science, and stipends for artists. Artists can also apply for residencies. Students of the German language can get financial support to complete their graduate studies in Germany. Graduate students can apply for a stipend covering high school summer courses. The age limit eligibility is 32 and a certificate of good command of the German language is obligatory.
