The [[Kodak Award]] is conferred annually during the [[Festival of Slovene Film]] on the film with the best cinematography. In the event that the official jury does not confer an award for best cinematography, the Kodak award goes to the director of photography of the best film. The winner of the Kodak award is given a special diploma for his/her work plus US$1,500 (gross value) in film material of the recipient's own choice. In the event that the jury does not confer a best picture award or a best cinematography award, the Kodak award is postponed until the following year.
