The main retail outlet of Litera Publishing House (80 square metres) was opened in 2004 in the city centre. Today it offers around 6,000 titles from the field of literature, humanities and social science as well as manuals, textbooks and children books. The bookstore hosts some 80 literary events throughout the year and collaborates with the Borštnik Meeting, Slovene Theatre Festival in Maribor as well as Days of Poetry and Wine Medana.
