The purpose of the joint venture by the [[Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology]], [[Ministry of Foreign Affairs]] and [[Ministry of Culture]] is to create a synergy among the Slovene institutions and organisations in Vienna in order to become a central forum and a representative of Slovene cultural, education, and science activities in Austria. Mission and objectives
The purpose of the joint venture by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Culture is to create a synergy among the Slovene institutions and organisations in Vienna in order to become a central forum and a representative of Slovene cultural, education, and science activities in Austria. Specifically, the project endeavours to promote a culture and art programme as well as create a cultural education programme for children and youth; establish a library and a reading room; all while focusing on building a multidisciplinary approach from all study fields and art disciplines.
One of the central objectives of the centre is to establish a residence for artists, guests and scientists, similar to the existing artist-in-residence programme conducted in Berlin, New York and London by the Slovene Ministry of Culture.
