Boben and Lajna Festival

From Culture.si
  • I think that foreign readers won't understand the Boben and Lajna reference, so I've tried to address this somehow. I'm not sure if it's 100% "correct", but I immediately think of Zogica Marogica when I hear Boben in lajna ... I'd say many others do too. Feel free to adjust my sentence if you have another take on the matter or wish to fill it out a little more. I've added a few external links to Delo as well as to an article about barrel organs. I think the connection to the modern computer (electronic music) via the automatic organ is a curious one. Still, I have a bit of dilemma about whether the article "fits" here, as it is not directly related to the festival, but helps an outsider (researcher) understand Slovenian culture in the larger scope. Hm. I don't know where else to put such info. --Jana Wilcoxen (talk) 11:14, 31 October 2015 (CET)
  • I'd day the article on lajna should stay here. The portal is luckily not very rigid in terms of presenting content, and I also allow myself little digressions in either style or content. As for Speckles the Ball, we added the link on Speckles & lajna photo that we actually have in our archive. --Anže Zorman (talk) 16:18, 2 November 2015 (CET)
