Ravne Ironworks Brass Orchestra was founded at the very beginning of the 20th century. Today it comprises around 90 musicians, usually performing with guest musicians. The Ravne Orchestra is one of Slovenia's most successful brass orchestras, and has received prizes at numerous international competitions, including Kerkrade, Netherlands where it won first prize five times.
