The emphasis of the Library is on reference publications on art theory, painting, sculpture, graphic art, photography, performance, video, new media and architecture.
A range of card catalogues and indices provides bibliographic access to the Library collections. The card catalogue includes listing by author, artist, title, by subject, and by museum and gallery. A study room with 12 seats is available to the library users. Most of the books and exhibition catalogues in the library are available on open shelves, some of the material can be taken out of the library.
Culture.si offers information on Slovene cultural producers, venues, festivals and support services, all in one place. It encourages international cultural exchange in the fields of arts, culture and heritage. The portal and its content is owned and funded by the Ministry of Culture, funded by the European Union Recovery and Resilience Plan and developed by Ljudmila Art and Science Laboratory.
