The Slovene Association of Antique and Humanistic Studies was founded in 1976 with the aim to promote antique Roman and Greek culture, encourage the antique and humanistic studies and collaborate with schools with the teaching and learning Latin and Ancient Greek language and literature. The Association is together with the Department of Classics at the Faculty of Arts of University of Ljubljana also active with organising debates, literature presentations and related events.


Members and activities

The members of the Association are professionals with diploma in Greek and Latin or related studies, translators or students of Greek and Latin language with literature.
