MotörCity Festival is the only and possibly the first large Slovene festival dedicated almost exclusively to blues music. It styles itself as a 'blues, rock in motorcycle festival', meaning that its programme should partly lean on the biking culture and aesthetics. The first edition of MotörCity will be held in August 2017.

The festival is located at one of the more prominent summer festival locations, at Sotočje in Tolmin. This idyllic junction of two Alpine rivers also hosts festivals such as Metalcamp and Punk Rock Holiday.

Programme

The confirmed artists for 2017 edition of the festival include Chris Thomas King (UK), Hans Theessink (NL) & Terry Evans (US), Henrik Freischlader (DE) and Prismojeni Profesorji Bluesa.
