Modrijan Publishing House publishes primarily textbooks for elementary and secondary education, however it has also issued a series of literary or theoretical texts by contemporary authors as well as several books on Slovene history. In 2009, Modrijan Bookshop in Ljubljana was opened. Books can also be ordered from the online bookstore on the Modrijan website.

Twice a year Modrijan Publishing House publishes Modrijan, a richly illustrated catalogue in a newspaper format (in 99,000 copies) that promotes authors and titles published by the house but also brings news from the literary world (in Slovenian).
