One of the oldest faculty libraries at the [[University of Ljubljana]], the [[Department of Geography Library, University of Ljubljana|Department of Geography Library]] was established in [[established::1919]] and is the central geographical library in Slovenia. It houses around 50,000 units of library material and more than 300 titles of different periodicals. The library is not only a great source of geography material but also other related disciplines such as sociology, economy, history, ecology, etc.
