Kaja Draksler (b. 1987 in Kranj) is a young promising jazz pianist, typical of her generation, which compared to previous generations of Slovene jazz musicians enjoys more educational support and wider international connections. In 2005 after graduation she continued her studies at Prince-Claus Conservatorium in Groningen, Holland, and obtained her Bachelor Degree with honors in 2009. She started with her studies of classical composition on Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2010.

She is the leader of Kaja Draksler Acropolis Quartet with George Dumitriu (guitar), Goran Krmac (tuba) and Kristijan Krajnčan (drums). As the band, established in 2007, also features Sanem Kalfa on vocals since 2008, they are now caled Acropolis Quintet.
