In May 2010 in cooperation with the Municipality of Ljubljana the Embassy of Denmark organised the exhibition Dreams on Wheels, which was on display at the Magistrat Gallery in the City Hall's atrium. It showcased Danish cycling tradition, bicycle design, and urban planning.
In 2011 the Danish Ballet Director Frank Andersen was invited by the Slovene National Theatre Opera and Ballet Ljubljana to stage in Ljubljana a new production of the romantic ballet classic La Sylphides, of which only the version choreographed in 1836 by Danish Ballet Director August Bournonville was preserved till today. The ballet premièred in March 2011 at Cankarjev dom.
