The [[Federation of European Film Directors]] (FERA) represents more than 11,000 European directors grouped in 32 Associations in 27 countries. A recognised non-governmental international association established in Venice in 1980, FERA also collaborates with the [[European Commission]], the European Parliament, the [[Council of Europe]], the [[World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO)]], the [[United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO)]] and Eureka Audiovisual. The Federation is also a member of the European Cinema and Television Office (ECTO).
