Franc Bernik Culture House has been a central cultural institution in Domžale since 1998. A team of three people organises around 160 events annually. The programme includes theatre performances, classical music, jazz and popular music concerts, youth events, puppetry, literary evenings, lectures and exhibitions. Four theatre, one music and five children's subscription series are organised each year, with additional Saturday morning puppetry performances for children. In 1999-2003 Franc Bernik Culture House took over the running of the Groblje International Festival of Chamber Music, one of the oldest festivals of its kind in Europe.
Franc Bernik Culture House also runs the Domžale Gallery.
