The [[International Center for Puppetry Arts Koper]] (also called MCLU for the Mednarodni center lutkovne umetnosti Koper) was established in [[established::2005]] when the activities of the "Lutkarnica Puppetry Studio" at Mladinska 6 in Koper-Capodistria were expanded. The founder was [[Maja Bavdaž Gross]] who has been active in puppetry for more than three decades and also co-founded the [[Papelito Puppet Theatre|Papilu Puppet Theatre]]. 

The centre produces performances by [[Nika Solce]] and the puppet theatre [[Teatro matita]] as well as co-organises the [[PUF Festival]] and [[Floating Castle Festival]].

At the Lutkarnica Studio the MCLU produces various performances, organises workshops for small and school-aged children, and holds seminars for teachers.
