KUD Pošta Brass Band was established in 1931 by employees of Maribor Post and Telephone Company. For several decades it consisted only of post and phone company employees, but these were later joined by other musicians. Today the brass band comprises 70 members; it performs regularly at competitions and festivals, and has been invited to Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Sweden, Slovakia, Denmark, Luxembourg, Belgium, Croatia, Serbia, Macedonia, Spain and Italy. Its conductor since 1967 has been Ervin Hartman.
