The Levstik Room presents the life and work of writer, critic, linguist and journalist Fran Levstik (1831-1887), displaying photographs and several of his literary works along with some personal belongings.
The adjacent Stritar Room commemorates the life and work of poet, narrative writer, dramatist, literary critic and editor Josip Stritar (1836-1923), presenting his work and life with photographs, a selection of literary works and his personal library with some copies of the Zvon (Bell) journal, some personal belongings and awards.
A third room contains a modest presentation on Slovene Protestant reformer Primož Trubar (1508-1586), founder and first superintendent of the Protestant Church of Slovenia, consolidator of the Slovene language and author of the first printed book in Slovene. It is also used as a reading room.
The memorial rooms are managed by the Primož Trubar Cultural Society of Velike Lašče.
