The first library association in this region was established within the Slovene Library Association in 1959; it has organised activities under its present name since [[Established::1991]]. The Association is a voluntary organisation, its aim being to stimulate discussion and the exchange of experience. An excursion to other libraries in Slovenia is organised annually for its members. |
