Noteworthy building projects include the Celje Chalet, the Riko prefabricated wood panel single-family building in Palm Springs, the Edelweiss Houses in Stožice, the EuroCity complex in Šiška, and the Mostec Apartments (the last three all located in Ljubljana). Maechtig Vrhunc Arhitekti was founded in Ljubljana in 1995 by partners Tomaž Maechtig and Urša Vrhunc. After graduating from the [[Faculty of Architecture, University of Ljubljana]] Tomaž Maechtig continued his studies at the Gnomon School for Visual Effects and Computation, Hollywood in 2000. Urša Vrhunc took her Masters degree in Architecture and Urban Design at UCLA in the USA. Selected building projects include Celje Chalet, the Riko prefabricated wood panel single-family building at Palm Springs, Edelweis houses in Stožice, Ljubljana, EuroCity in Šiška, Ljubljana, and the Mostec Apartment Block, also in Ljubljana. They conceived also some urban design projects. The studio has also designed the OblikaObleka fashion exhibition, temporary Telekom Info-points and Memorials for Fallen Victims of War round Slovenia.
