About
Marjeta Grošelj, also dubbed "the first lady of Slovenian handbags", opened her boutique at Tavčarjeva ulica in Ljubljana in 1966. She later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana before acquiring additional experience in Great Britain. Her leather accessories design, especially her handbags, have become 'collectors' items'. She has participated in the most prestigious fashion events in Slovenia, receiving the 2002 Trend Award for fashion and the 2003 Designer of the Year Award bestowed by Mercedes Benz.
