Established in 1994 and relocated to new premises in 2001, Ptuj Centre for Cultural Activities (CID Ptuj) is a public institution which offers an info point, cybercafé and a range of youth club activities (concerts, lectures, meetings, literary evenings, exhibitions) and other projects. The Centre organises free-time activities for children and young people and is active in developing youth work. Its aims are collaboration, openness, originality, informal education, positiveness, constructive communication, acquisition of knowledge, adaptability, persistence, economy, development of good relations and respect for human rights. The Centre develops creative use of free time, information and counselling work, youth mobility activities, informal education and voluntary programmes throughout the whole Spodnje Podravje region.
