Slovenia has actively assisted Palestine through many humanitarian and development projects, most notably through the rehabilitation of children from the Gaza Strip. One hundred children and young adult victims of the conflict received treatment at the Soča University Rehabilitation Institute in Ljubljana in nine groups. In parallel, 18 Palestinian therapists were trained in rehabilitation.
