The Slovene Association of Antique and Humanistic Studies was founded in 1976 with the aim to promote antique Roman and Greek culture, encourage the antique and humanistic studies and to collaborate with schools on the teaching and learning Latin and Ancient Greek language and literature. The Association is together with the Department of Classics at the Faculty of Arts of University of Ljubljana also active with organising debates, literature presentations and related events.
